This cocktail features caramelised banana skins infused spiced rum, washed coconut rum, and coconut syrup. The coconut and banana foam adds a creamy, tropical flavour that perfectly complements the rum's richness.

The garnishes for the Banana Colada Cocktail include a coconut and banana foam topping, with coconut flakes and dehydrated orange powder on the rim, adding a creamy texture and a citrusy, tropical flair to the drink.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Homemade caramelised banana skins infused spiced rum
  • 25ml Washed Coconut Rum
  • 20ml Coconut Syrup
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • Coconut and banana foam, for topping
  • Coconut flakes & dehydrated orange powder, for rim garnish 

Directions:

  1. Prepare Your Glass: Spread a bit of banana caramel on the rim of a highball glass, add dehydrated orange powder, and fill the glass with ice.
  2. Measure and Pour: Add all ingredients, except the foam, to a shaker.
  3. Shake It Up: Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds until the ingredients are well mixed and the shaker is frozen.
  4. Serve: Empty the highball glass (OR martini glass should you choose) and refill with fresh ice. Double-strain the cocktail into the glass.
  5. Top Up: Use a canister to top-up the cocktail with coconut & banana foam.
  6. Garnish: For the finishing touch, sprinkle coconut flakes on top.
  7. Enjoy: Sip without a straw to experience the foam's texture and the full flavours of the cocktail.
