Cape Town International Airport is approximately a one-hour drive from Franschhoek. It is recommended that you arrive two to three hours prior to the departure of your flight.

Franschhoek has several scenic and adventurous biking routes with interesting stop along the way that makes this the perfect individual, couple or family outing. In our support of local business, our biking partner is Franschhoek Cycles. Here you will be fitted with your choice of a road, mountain or e-bike to your exact requirements and guided on the best adventure according to your preferences. Half day and Full day rates are on offer.

Our guest assistant team is able to assist in organising transportation, tours, tables at Franschhoek’s best restaurants and many other services.
We can exchange major international currencies into South African Rand (ZAR). Please see reception for the daily exchange rates.
For any floral requirements, please contact our guest assistant by dialling reception. A 24-hour notice period is required.
Gift certificates: Gift certificates for our various accommodation options are available on request.
Gift Hampers: Curated gift hampers, featuring Leeu branded items, Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines and Terbodore coffee (to name a few) are available for purchase.
If you choose to leave a gratuity, please note that this can be added to your final invoice upon departure.
Golf carts are available for on-site transfers by our team on the Estates for in-house guests only.
If you have misplaced any of your belongings, please inform our guest assistant.
Valet parking is available 24 hours for hotel guests at reception. Our driver will collect your car when needed. Please allow 10 minutes for your car to be brought to you.
Our front desks are available 24 hours per day. Should you have any queries related to your stay, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Our swimming pools are open from 07h00 until sunset. Changing rooms and towels are available. Please note that children under the age of 16, learners and non-swimmers must be supervised by an adult. Light snacks and refreshments are on offer.
Should you require a taxi or a private transfer, please contact our guest assistant.
We offer a complimentary shuttle service to Leeu Estates and within the village daily at the following times:
Afternoon drop off requests:
- 12h00 – Transfer and return pick up
- 17h00 – Transfer and return pick up
Evening drop off requests:
- 19h00 – Transfer and return pick up
- 22h00 – Transfer and return pick up
Please book for this service with Reception. We will advise if demand is high for a specific time and more than one trip will be scheduled to accommodate all guests.
For trips that fall outside of these times and transport requirements for all surrounding areas that are not within the village of Franschhoek, we are able to assist with booking and confirming via our trusted partners.
