Add a tasting of the OLERASAY 6° Chenin Blanc Straw Wine to any tasting option. The OLERASAY is our solera-matured Straw Wine which comprises all vintages from the maiden 2008 vintage to 2025. OLERASAY is internationally regarded as a benchmark wine for South Africa and remains the only South African wine to ever receive a perfect 100-point rating from a major US wine publication.
This tasting introduces you to the flagship portfolio of our Leeu Passant winery in Franschhoek. These fine wines are inspired by the distinct culture, terroir, history and tastes of the Cape and include some of the oldest vineyards in South Africa, dating back to 1900.
The name Alpha, representing 'the beginning', was dedicated to this exceptional wine to celebrate the launch of the Leeu Passant winery on Leeu Estates in Franschhoek, and as the prototype blend for its coveted flagship wine, The Leeu Passant. While trends seek immediacy, the 2014 Leeu Passant Alpha honours permanence and the understanding that true luxury is measured not by excess, but by rarity, authenticity and time.
This tasting introduces you to our Single Terroir range. Some of the wines may be sold out but we would like to give you the opportunity to taste them should you wish to go on an allocation list for future releases. Only wines that are a great expression of their terroir are released.
