CLIMATE
The Lake District has a generally mild maritime climate characterised by ample rainfall. Winters are wet with

snow

and summers are relatively dry by comparison (average temperatures range from 0°C/32°F in

Layering is the way to go as the weather is unpredictable and
can change rapidly in both summer and winter. Comfortable, sturdy shoes, a fleece and a waterproof jacket

menu, which stay true to Simon Rogan's farm

arm, Our Farm, located just a few miles away in the Cartmel Valley,
