The Leeu Collection is the manifestation of the vision of founder Analjit Singh (aka BAS) for sophisticated escapes and unique guest experiences. The hospitality portfolio
currently comprises one premium five-star and two five-star boutique properties in South Africa’s winelands:
Leeu Estates, a five-star premium 24-room country house
and boutique winery in the Franschhoek valley;
Leeu House, an exclusive hotel in the heart of Franschhoek village with 12-rooms and suite; and Le Quartier Français, a
romantic 25-room also located in the village. The first acquisition outside of South Africa was
Linthwaite House, a 36-room country retreat overlooking Windermere in

GENERAL POLICY:
• Children are welcome and a cot can be made available in any
room except the Manor House bedrooms. The Manor House
bedrooms can accommodate children aged 13 and older.
• Children 7 years and younger can be accommodated at no extra
cost on a sofa bed in selected rooms; a maximum of two children
are permitted per room.
• Children aged 8 - 12 sharing in a room with two adults will be
charged R3 000 per person per night at Leeu Estates. Maximum
one child per room allowed, accommodated on a sofa bed.
• There is no extra charge for children staying at Le Quartier
Français.
• Children aged 13 and older, are considered adults and will require
their own room. The appropriate cottage or room configuration
will be suggested.
• Normal room rate applies when one child sharing with one adult.
